There might be some correlation between hippocampus size and a preference, but I don&#039;t think that it&#039;s related to stratum. Remember, your STRATEGIC is your boss&#039;s TACTICAL: so some of this may be relative, in that I form maps for some things but rely on procedural responses for others.

I&#039;m also wondering about mental maps of the social network.</description>

Essentially building cognitive maps of the organisation - eventually enabling them to see the shortcuts you mention.  Do you think that capacity is somehow related to a person&#039;s preference to take the time and effort to build these maps rather than relying on procedural responses?</description>
