GEICO Pays 24.2% In Worker Bonuses” by Kyle Kennedy, The Ledger Online, 2005 February 26.

GEICO’s Lakeland employees received a profit-sharing bonus of 24.2 percent, up from 17.7 percent last year, employees told The Ledger.

GEICO has been making some waves in the insurance business lately, gaining some more marketshare that was being overtaken by Progressive. GEICO is a Berkshire Hathaway company.

Always good to pay attention to Mr. Buffet. Until the Multi-Cat destroys his empire totally, which I suppose is the life of the reinsurer, as the good people behind Lloyd’s discovered over a decade ago.
